Buried Memories

After an explosion claimed the life of her best friend, Eve Cameron left her family home with no plan to return. But when her grandmother asks for help in order to sell the property, Eve agrees to revisit Lourdes Mansion, hoping her homecoming might fill the gaps in her memory which surround her friend’s tragic death. If Eve can recall what happened that fateful night, perhaps she can finally put the past behind her. 

Arriving home, the last person Eve expects to run into is Trent Walsh, her high school sweetheart. She is shocked to learn that Trent is investigating a serial killer—one who may have a connection to the terrible events of her past. After multiple near-death attacks, Eve begins to wonder if she was the killer’s target all along, and he’s come back to finish the job. 

Haunted by a local serial killer who remains at large, private investigator Trent Walsh works nonstop to solve other cases, and to forget Eve Cameron, his former girlfriend and the one who got away. 

Hired by Eve’s grandfather to investigate what happened the night of the explosion that killed Eve’s best friend, Trent is surprised by Eve’s unexpected return to Lourdes Mansion. 

When it becomes clear someone is targeting Eve to keep her memories of the explosion from resurfacing, Trent pushes aside the pain she caused when she left and vows to stop her attacker. A connection emerges, possibly linking Eve’s tormenter with the serial killer from Trent’s past, and the former sweethearts must work together to solve mysteries new and old, in order to stop the killer from silencing Eve, once and for all.
